This is your carbine manipulations course. It’s recommended - but not required - students complete Carbine I (or its equivalent elsewhere) prior to this course. Sight system(s) must be zeroed prior to arriving for training. Topics include:

  • Sling Management

  • Mechanical Offset

  • Ready Positions

  • Reloads (Can v. Must)

  • Recognizing Stoppages

  • Fixing Stoppages

  • “2-in-2” Ready-Up Standard

Training Duration: (8) Hours.

Required gear: carbines ONLY, rifle sling, at least (2) rifle magazines, at least (1) magazine pouch, ear & eye protection, durable outer wear, rain coat, lunch, and water.

Estimated round count: 300.

Club opens at 8:00 AM. Course begins at 9:00 AM.

Course purchases are non-refundable. In the event a course is canceled due to weather, students will be given the option of a full refund or a “course credit” toward a future course.
