pistol I (fundamentals)

This is your pistol fundamentals course. Topics include:

  • Pistol Action & Handling

  • Muzzle Management

  • Trigger Finger Discipline

  • Loading & Unloading

  • Vision Principles

  • Grip Principles

  • Trigger Control

  • How to Practice

Training Duration: (8) Hours.

Required gear: semi-auto pistol, OWB holster, at least (2) magazines, at least (1) magazine holder/pouch, ear & eye protection, durable outer wear, rain jacket, lunch, and water.

pistol II (manipulations)

This is your pistol manipulations course. Students will be expected to know how to safely handle, load, and unload their pistol. Topics include:

  • Training Priorities: Vision & Grip

  • Drawing The Pistol

  • Reloads (Can v. Must)

  • Recognizing Stoppages

  • Fixing Stoppages

  • “2-in-2” Draw-Stroke Standard

  • How To Practice

Training Duration: (8) Hours.

This is your concealed carry pistol course. Topics include:

Required gear: semi-auto pistol, IWB holster, at least (4) magazines, at least (1) magazine holder, tourniquet, ear & eye protection, durable outer wear, rain jacket, lunch, and water.

CAT tourniquet provided for training.

The Pistol Capstone tests and ultimately develops the following shooting-related skills:

  • Day 2 Afternoon: Final Assessment

Training Duration: (16) Hours.

Red dot pistol

This is your red dot sight employment course. Topics include:
