This is your red dot sight employment fundamentals course. Students must arrive with the ability to manage their muzzles safely. Topics include:

  • Zeroing Considerations

  • Iron Sight Considerations

  • Manufacturer Considerations

  • Open v. Closed Emitters

  • Acquiring The Dot

  • Vision Principles

  • Grip Principles

  • The Draw-Stroke

  • Building Consistency

  • The Dot as a Diagnostic

  • How To Dry Practice

Training Duration: (8) Hours.

Required gear: semi-auto pistol w/ RDS or MRDS, IWB or OWB holster, at least (3) magazines, at least (2) magazine holders, ear & eye protection, durable outer wear, rain jacket, lunch, and water.

Estimated round count: 500.

Club opens at 8:00 AM. Course begins at 9:00 AM.

Course purchases are non-refundable. In the event a course is canceled due to weather, students will be given the option of a full refund or a “course credit” toward a future course.
