This is your carbine fundamentals course. Students are required to bring their rifle sight system’s user manual. Topics include:

  • Rifle Action & Handling

  • Muzzle Management

  • Trigger/Safety Selector Discipline

  • Loading & Unloading

  • The Zeroing Process

  • Intro to External Ballistics

  • Vision Principles

  • Grip/Connection Principles

  • Intro to Mechanical Offset

Training Duration: (8) Hours.

Required gear: carbines ONLY, two-point sling, at least (2) rifle magazines, at least (1) magazine holder, ear & eye protection, durable outer wear, rain coat, lunch, and water.

Estimated round count: 150.

Club opens at 8:00 AM. Course begins at 9:00 AM.

Course purchases are non-refundable. In the event a course is canceled due to weather, students will be given the option of a full refund or a “course credit” toward a future course.
